Who we are

FridgieLog is run by Daniel Wallace, a sole trader trading as Formzapp, of Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can contact us about privacy at hello@fridgielog.com.

FridgieLog is a tool for air conditioning and refrigeration businesses and their engineers. It is not for members of the public.

What we collect

  • Waitlist: your name, business name, email address, state, team size and whether you'd like marketing emails.
  • Accounts (once FridgieLog launches): business details (name, ABN, address, phone, logo), user names and emails, licence and accreditation details and photos, engineer headshots where provided, and the records you create in the app, such as refrigerant logs, cylinder records, job dockets, photos and customer details for jobs.
  • Technical information: basic logs such as IP address, device and browser type, kept for security and fixing problems.

How we use it

  • To run the waitlist and tell you when FridgieLog is ready.
  • To provide the app and its features to your business, including emailing documents you ask it to send.
  • To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve it.
  • To send product news and tips, only if you've said yes. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell personal information.

Your business's records

Records your business creates in FridgieLog, such as customer and job details, belong to your business. We store and process them on your behalf to provide the service. Inside a business account, licence photos and headshots can only be seen by the engineer they belong to and the business's owner and office admins.

Where it's stored and who helps us

App data is stored with Supabase in Sydney, Australia. We use trusted providers to run the service, including:

  • Supabase (database and file storage)
  • Vercel (website hosting)
  • Paddle (payments, as our authorised reseller)
  • Microsoft 365 (our email)
  • Xero, only if your business chooses to connect it

Some providers may process information outside Australia or the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

Waitlist details are kept until FridgieLog launches and for 12 months after, unless you sign up or ask us to delete them. Account data is kept while your account is open. If a business deletes its account, its data is removed within 30 days, including backups, apart from anything we must keep by law (for example billing records held by Paddle).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@fridgielog.com. Account owners can also export their records and delete their account from the app's settings.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) or the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes

We'll update this page if anything changes and let account holders know about important changes.
